Professeur à l’université de Paris 8 et membre du groupe de recherche TransCrit, Lori Maguire a reçu son doctorat à l’université d’Oxford et son habilitation à l’université de Paris IV.

Ses recherches portent sur l’histoire et sur la politique étrangère de la Grande-Bretagne et des Etats-Unis. Parmi ses publications: "The U.S. Congress and the Politics of Afghanistan: an Analysis of the Senate Foreign Relations and Armed Services Committees during George W.
